Living with Cerebral Palsy

My child with Cerebral Palsy

Our goal is to provide you with information about Cerebral Palsy and information on nutrition management for your child.
We understand you may have questions. That’s why we’ve gathered information and resources to support you.

The LivingwithCP website, created by Nestlé Health Science, is here to help you learn more about nutrition and cerebral palsy (CP). We will address the nutrition management of CP to help you understand and have meaningful conversation with your child’s healthcare team.

Your healthcare team will work with you to create a nutrition plan to meet your child’s needs.

A team of healthcare professionals can help you with your questions about nutrition and feeding your child. Pediatric dietitians can design customized nutrition plans according to your child’s specific needs. Gastroenterologists can run tests to help diagnosis digestive symptoms and present treatment options. Occupational therapists and speech language pathologists can provide specific support on how you can help your child develop oral feeding skills, how to position your child during feeding, and how to use adapted chairs and feeding utensils during meals. Your healthcare team will also guide you in selecting the best nutrition products for your child.
